overview of the program: From time to time, The United States Playing Card Company (“we”, “us” or “our”) may sponsor promotional events (each an “Event”). These Terms and Conditions, together with the our Privacy Policy, and Google’s Privacy Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference, govern your participation in any Event you attend (“Event”). When you purchase a ticket and/or register for an Event, you agree to enter into these Terms and Conditions with us.

PERSONAL INFORMATION USAGE: To learn how we will use the personal information collected in connection with the Event, you should read our Privacy Policy.

ADMITTANCE: In our sole discretion and without refund, we and any of our third-party partners that run an Event (“Partners”) reserve the right to refuse admittance to or expel from an Event anyone that it determines is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to an Event or pose any danger to any other attendee. You consent and agree that in such event, you shall not be entitled to a refund of any portion of amounts paid.

LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE: In consideration of being allowed to register for and participate in an Event, you hereby warrant and represent that you are age 18 or above and freely waive, release from liability, assume all risks, and covenant not to sue us, our affiliates, or service providers (collectively “Cartamundi ) and Partners for any expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, disability, property damage, or property theft or actions of any kind that you or your children may hereafter suffer or sustain before, during, or after the Event, unless said expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, disability, property damage or property theft or actions of any kind is caused by the sole, willful misconduct of Cartamundi or its Partners. This liability waiver and release is knowingly given and specifically binding upon your heirs and assigns.

AUDIO/VIDEOTAPING, DIGITAL RECORDING, AND PHOTOGRAPHY: In general audio, image, and video recording is permitted at an Event. To comply with data privacy laws, we may impose certain restrictions on the use of multimedia at its events (e.g. photography, video, audio, online streaming, and all future mediums). Attendees are permitted to use hand-held cameras and/or smart phones to take photographs and capture digital images for personal, non-commercial use, provided the photography is not disruptive. Photographs may not be published, sold, reproduced, transmitted, distributed or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF RIGHTS: By attending an Event, you acknowledge and agree that (1) Cartamundi will be taking photographs and video recordings of the Event for commercial, advertising, promotional and related purposes; and (2) you grant to Cartamundi a royalty-free, unconditional, perpetual, irrevocable right and license to use your and your children’s likenesses, images, photographs, voices, vocal styles, statements, gestures, mannerisms and any other indicia or imitations of identity or likeness (collectively “Likeness”), in connection with its commercial, advertising, promotional and related purposes. If you do not wish to have your or your children’s Likeness used by Cartamundi for such purposes, please do not attend the Event.
